October is Breast Cancer Awareness month

Right now, throughout Canada it’s Breast Cancer Awareness month. Breast cancer is a disease that will affect 1 in 9 Canadian women during their lifetime. In BC, the statistics may be even higher, between 1 in 8 and 1 in 7.

According to the Canadian Breast Cancer Association http://www.cbcf.org/bc/ it is estimated that 22,700 Canadian women and 200 Canadian men will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, in 2012.

Breast cancer is a complex disease with no single cause. Breast cancer researchers believe that a combination of inherited and environmental causes must be present for breast cancer to develop.
But whether it is genetic or not, your body provides the conditions in which cancers can thrive and the best way to handle this is to make sure your immune system is strong, your body’s PH level balanced and your energies are flowing.
At Inner Energy Wellness that is the first thing we look at… Are your energies flowing properly? How balanced are your body’s systems? How is your nutritional or lack of nutrional intake affecting your digestion, which ultimately affects your immune system? And most importantly, we look at how any blocks in your body, mind and spirit synergy may have potentially played a role in the oncoming of the disease.
The good news is that there’s so much you can do! You can take back being in charge of your body and strengthen all three body, mind and spirit with intention and a little guidance.
The integration of Mind, Body and Spirit is the key to a healthy recovery where as quoted by Albert Einstein himself:  “No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.”

Because our life can be affected by breast cancer in so many different ways, Inner Energy Wellness is there to help women through:

  • Emotional responses to being diagnosed and treated for breast cancer
  • Helping with your body image
  • Strengthening your female organ systems
  • Strengthening your immune system
  • Support for your wellbeing during and after treatment
  • Balancing your whole body energetically

If nothing else, it’s a way to feel supported and nurtured by a professional Certified Holistic Health Practitioner who cares about you as a whole person.
